PARTNERSHIP DIRECTOR
Supervisor:
The partnership director reports to the Executive Director and the Grantwell Advisory Board.
Purpose:
The Grantwell Partnerships Director is responsible for managing which projects and partnerships Grantwell takes on each semester, serving as the primary point of communication for potential partner organizations, guiding the scope and structure of each project, assisting Student Project Officers (SPOs) in preparing their statements of work, resolving any partnership-related issues to ensure a positive experience, collecting feedback data for continuous improvement, and maintaining a CRM to track and strengthen relationships with partners.
Position Overview
The Partnership Director oversees Grantwell’s client relationships and project portfolio, ensuring successful collaborations with nonprofit partners. This role leads the effort to identify, vet, and onboard client organizations, supports Student Project Officers (SPOs) in developing statements of work, and maintains ongoing communication to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for all potential and existing client partners
Vet and guide prospective partner organizations through the application process
Collaborate with SPOs and partners to define project scope and structure
Schedule and lead meetings with potential partner organizations.
Assist in the development and review of statements of work
Manage and maintain a CRM system to track partner interactions
Collect and analyze partner feedback to improve future collaborations
Support the recruitment and selection of client organizations each semester with the faculty advisor and executive team
Manage email communications with partner organizations to keep relationships with partners.
Help resolve partnership-related challenges and ensure a positive experience for all parties
Review final team deliverables with the experience director before submitting to the partner
Train the incoming Partnership Director
Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week during the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter semesters. Required to attend all Grantwell and MPA 659R meetings and classes.
